99 Cooking Complete!

 

There it is! I made it! I got the final cooking level at the cooking guild and then went downstairs to claim my skill cape! 

97 Cooking

 

It's another cooking level down! 97 cooking is in the books. Onto 98 and then finally 99!

Today was super productive! I achieved 95 and 96 Cooking! Three more levels until 99!

I made it to 91 cooking today! I've been cooking raw shark near the Varrock Grand Exchange and so far it's been decent XP. Next stop, 92!

Treasure Trails Rewards 24 JAN 2021

 

Well friends, today I completed a "hard" clue with a 1.2m reward. (I did have to re-roll once for the reward. Not a bad pull!

Marrentill Price raise

 

Today I was fighting kalphite guardians as a slayer task when I noticed that the price of dirty marrentill was about 8k each after I examined it. I cleaned the herb and then noticed the price for clean marrentills was about 9k each. I have never seen this herb valued that high since I started playing runescape classic back in 2002. I got my Dad, Bloggerben, online to jump into the dungeon with me so we could kill chaos druids for marrentill. At first we thought that maybe the drop rate was less frequent, hence why the price of the herb had gone up. But to our delight, the marrentill drops were quite frequent and I started making about 1m an hour just on the drop rate. 

I think some merchanting clan might be manipulating the grand exchange, but I'm going to take advantage of this as long as I can. Lol! ✌😈

I got 90 cooking today..looks like I'm almost halfway to 99 haha!

Today I completed a hard clue. These clue rewards gave me much better items than the elite clue I did last night. All in all, I came out with 2.3m gold pieces in rewardes. Not bad 😀

Some Memes Write Themselves

So, as the title states, some memes write themselves. Lol.

Seriously though, as I was completing Mourning's End Part I quest today, I noticed some eerily familiar themes between RuneScape and present day real world activity. I'm starting to think the Elves in Tirannwn are Chinese...Ha!

Executioner X'ppe the Glorious

 Today I bumped into "Executioner X'ppe the Glorious". After a quick runescape wiki search, I found out that these "Demon Mobs" appear randomly within RuneScape, and they drop some pretty kickass loot. So I ran back to the bank stocked up on the best gear I have and I attacked the creature. I promptly got my ass handed to me, but I thought the fight looked cool at least. 

Better luck next time I guess. 😅

Hellfire Bow

 Another interesting thing happened today. I found the "Hellfire Bow" in low level wilderness. I've only found it one other time before, and never in low-level wilderness. I picked it up, but I still can't use it yet because I don't have 90 ranged Lmao! 😖

87 Cooking

 In other news today, I played a little bit of RS3 and leveled up to 87 cooking. It's still going to be a long road to 99, but it's good to know I'm almost halfway there 😄

PKER LOG - Deep Wilderness Kill

 Last night's kill was fun, although I did not receive much loot. The only items of real worth to me here are the four (4x) rune ores I picked up off of the remains. I found the rival player out in deep wilderness attempting to mine runite ore...in which case I got the drop on him and casted some water blasts. He tried to run but I continued to attack with water blast. Eventually he was not able to run any farther and succumbed to my attacks without being able to teleport out of the wilderness.

Priest in Peril

 

Well. I'm back after a long hiatus...I went ahead and completed Priest in Peril in OSRS today. Only 14 more quests to go to start Regicide!
